SCOPE OF EXPERIENCE:
Kent McMackin is a former rural hospital Chief Executive Officer, Practice Manager and System Director of Physician Recruitment, Retention and Relations at a regional rural healthcare system. Kent has over 20 years experience in hospital and physician practice operations and how they interrelate when sustaining, developing and creating healthcare services in rural communities.

As a consultant Kent has continued his passion for rural medicine by working with rural hospitals, physicians and communities to implement Organizational Development programs that build on existing healthcare services and identify new business lines through development of physician need assessments, physician recruitment strategies and physician retention/relation programs.

Some consultants will tell you what is wrong; however, if there are individuals who are keeping the organization from moving forward, these consultants can not deal with conflict and create positive change at the same time. Therefore, Kent utilizes individual and group intervention skills to build consensus and buy-in from all stakeholders.
